Andrea Hilliard was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia. She grew up singing and playing music instruments for children’s ensembles. Andrea graduated from the University of Indonesia with a degree in French Language and subsequently studied music at Singapore Bible College, majoring in Voice. After coming to California in 2004, she pursued a Master of Music in Vocal Performance degree at Azusa Pacific University.

Andrea joined KidSingers in the summer 2017 as Associate Conductor. Besides teaching at KidSingers, she is active as a professional singer with groups in Los Angeles and Orange Counties and as a soloist, adjudicating and giving training to church choirs. Andrea has taught piano and voice lessons and has directed many choirs of varying ages in churches and other locations. Andrea and her husband Don live in Anaheim with their feline boys, Dell and Taylor.
